Window Tweaks - better looking desktop and improved performance

Tired of the shades of grey that make up your Windows 98 or 2000 desktop? A tweak of the Windows configuration may be all you need. Even if you’ve upgraded to Windows XP, you’re probably still using the default blue color scheme with a green Start button. On all versions of Windows, your first stop should be the Appearance settings. You can get to these settings by right-clicking a blank space on your desktop, choosing Properties from the menu that appears and then clicking on the Appearance tab.
