Broadband satellite internet access is one of the newest and most advanced ways to receive a home or business internet connection. Satellite service is quicker and more stable than dial-up, and it offers greater flexibility of location than regular DSL.
Satellite internet providers give clients access to broadband broadcasts from orbiting satellites using a dish that is installed at the client's home or office. To receive this signal, a computer must be equipped with an Ethernet network card, and the customer must purchase a dish from the service provider.
